About the Role

We have a great opportunity for a Production Operator to join Mauri's Moorooka team in Brisbane. Working under the Production Manager, you will be part of the effective and safe running of the packing hall, and any associated processes; ensuring we are delivering on customer quality compliance and operating in a cost effective & timely manner.

The key responsibilities of the role include:

  • Ensuring that product is produced in a safe, timely, efficient and cost-effective manner
  • Operating semi-automated packing machinery
  • Ensuring all products are within specifications
  • Supporting cleaning and maintenance programs for all site equipment
  • Recording production data and following SOPs

About You

The successful candidate must have the following:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer focused attitude
  • Strong commitment to a safe working environment
  • Ability to work as part of a team across departments
  • Willingness to learn and develop skills
  • Forklift licence or willingness to obtain

Candidates with the following will be preferred:

  • Experience in a food manufacturing environment
  • Knowledge of food safety systems (HACCP) and Good Manufacturing Practice (BRC)
