What You’ll Do
- Design, build, and maintain robust data infrastructure across Ubank.
- Champion Infrastructure as Code practices using Terraform.
- Collaborate with engineering and data teams to improve platform usability and performance.
- Partner with Risk and Security teams to implement strong data governance and compliance controls.
- Drive automation and reliability across our data systems.
- Solid experience managing platforms and infrastructure in production environments.
- Infrastructure as Code expertise—especially with Terraform.
- Strong coding skills in Python and Java/Scala with a focus on clean, maintainable code.
- Experience with Databricks and cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- Familiarity with Airflow, Docker, and Linux/Unix environments.
- Proven experience with data governance programs—especially in areas like data classification, retention, and quality.
- A track record of building systems that improve engineering productivity.
- A passion for automation, security, and privacy engineering.
- Experience working in financial services is highly regarded.
