About the role:
In this position, you will join the application support team, which is responsible for configuring, supporting and maintaining the Doctors' Health Fund systems and applications. You will work collaboratively with team members to ensure that our systems operate effectively, providing a reliable experience for all users.
This is an entry-level position, providing a pathway for career growth as you deepen your understanding of how our systems, processes, and procedures synergistically operate to support our business objectives.

Key responsibilities:
- Work collaboratively within the application support team to achieve the best results for our internal users.
- Ensuring systems are compliant, functional, up-to-date and running efficiently.
- Support Doctors’ Health Fund employees and triage system issues while seeking to implement permanent and efficient fixes for the issues.
- Address any issues to ensure that applications run smoothly and maintain system stability.
- Ensure all daily administration tasks are completed.
- Assist with the implementation of projects and initiatives.
- Review Doctors’ Health Fund system applications (HAMBS, e5, Sugar CRM etc.) to ensure their integrity and relevancy.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in Information Technology or equivalent (or currently studying).
- Work experience/internship in a similar Application Support or Helpdesk Support role.
- Strong customer service and stakeholder management skills.
- Continuous improvement orientation.
- Well-developed interpersonal and relationship building skills.
