The Senior Delivery Manager (ANZ) is accountable for the end-to-end delivery of programs and projects to meet our customer needs and is responsible for customer relationships across their span of control. This role is responsible for the relationships with their customers for single geography (including global) within Nitecos service offerings or Core Business Services (CBS) functions.

The role assists in planning, monitoring, and controlling multiple projects using proven methods and techniques. The role participates in overall project execution and may oversee the work of Project Managers working on various client engagements. The key responsibilities of this role include managing scope, risks, and budgets across multiple/large scale/complex projects.

The role will report to the Country Manager, ANZ (CM-ANZ) and will be responsible for driving the delivery and migration of IT Projects associated with the specific customers. You will work closely with the Brand, Marketing and Communications (BMC) organization and the Architecture Review Board (ARB), manage supporting technology vendors, and lead the successful technology delivery for Nitecos exceptional digital experience.

In this role, you will be responsible for driving and supporting Nitecos Platform and Technology teams to plan and execute the Requirement analysis, Build, Release and Test of all future features on the identified IT platforms. This will include enabling best in class project teams as well as managing the active service and retiring the legacy.

Key Accountabilities

Project & Delivery Leadership

  • Lead geographically dispersed teams to deliver projects on time and within budget
  • Maintain end-to-end accountability for customer satisfaction and delivery excellence within specific service offerings or CBS function and geographic responsibilities
  • Ensure project discipline, accountability, and high-quality standards
  • Continuously improve technical delivery models and strategies to align with company goals
  • Act as a domain generalist with a broad perspective on Project Management


Planning & Resource Management

  • Work with teams to define necessary activities for successful delivery
  • Build client product roadmaps aligned with their vision
  • Coordinate with PMO to ensure appropriate staffing for project demands
  • Understand customer demand pipelines and collaborate with PMO to ensure resource supply
  • Optimize financial management, reporting, and delivery processes


Stakeholder & Customer Engagement

  • Serve as an escalation point for customer concerns
  • Manage complex stakeholder relationships and communicate resource constraints transparently
  • Identify customer opportunities/issues and support timely resolution
  • Deliver customer satisfaction and foster strong client relationships
  • Ensure compliance with Service Level Agreements (SLAs)


People Development & Organizational Contribution

  • Coach new and current PMs on planning, monitoring, risk management, and delivery practices
  • Support senior management in process improvement and project management best practices
  • Contribute to broader IT Services goals and streamline existing processes regularly
  • Balance multiple priorities transparently and sensitively in coordination with leadership


Knowledge And Skills

General Requirements

  • 5-10+ years in project delivery and stakeholder management in a tech environment
  • Proven track record delivering multiple projects/products for diverse clients
  • Must have a permanent permit to live and work in Australia


Project & Delivery Management

  • Experience in managing offshore delivery teams
  • Able to monitor and maintain project budgets
  • Skilled in using Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban)
  • Proficient in JIRA, Azure DevOps, or similar tools
  • Familiar with MS Project or similar project scheduling tools
  • Strong risk management and strategic planning capabilities
  • Drives operational improvements and ensures quality control


Stakeholder & Communication Skills

  • Strong customer orientation and expectation management
  • Good executive presence and stakeholder influence
  • Builds and maintains productive customer relationships
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and negotiation skills

Global & Agile Work Experience

  • Experience managing cross-border, global-level projects
  • Adaptable to multiple demands, shifting priorities, and rapid change
  • Hands-on Agile working experience essential


Education

  • A degree in Computer Science and/or a business-related degree; or equivalent work experience


Certification

  • Certifications in Project Management (preferably Prince2 / Agile CSM), Business Analysis and Project Assurance would be beneficial to performing this role
  • Familiarity with ITIL v2 or 3 would be advantageous
