Dental Assistant Trainee

We are seeking an energetic individual with a caring and professional manner to join our team. Will need to be willing to be trained in our clinic as a dental assistant with some reception duties as you learn. This is a permanent full-time position with a workload of 5 days a week.

Key Responsibilities

• Chairside assisting
• Opening and closing the surgeries
• Processing and sterilisation of instruments and maintaining the highest standards of infection control
• Cleaning and restocking supplies
• Running through Oral Health instructions and treatment procedures with patients
• Assist in the day-to-day running of the clinic
• Be a peoples person
• Ability to handle phone conversations
• Scheduling appointments
• Processing payments

• Able to work well both as an individual and part of a team
• Able to demonstrate initiative and motivation
• Well presented
• Positive 'can-do' attitude
• Computer literate
• Excellent organisation skills
• Works under their own initiative
• Experience with OASIS and HICAPS would be an advantage
  
  

Hours are 9:00 am - 6:00 pm. No nights or public holidays.
