Role and Responsibilities:
Middleware Administration
Assist in the administration and support of Oracle Fusion Middleware environments.
Gather and analyze information related to the implementation and operation of Oracle Fusion Middleware.
Participate in documentation reviews and technical discussions to understand existing middleware platforms and contribute to transition activities.
Help maintain and update operational documentation such as System Understanding Documents (SUDs) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Support middleware operations readiness in alignment with project timelines.
Middleware Operations & Support
Perform daily administration tasks for Oracle Fusion Middleware, including:
Monitoring system health and performance
Assisting in code and configuration deployments
Managing backups and recovery processes
Supporting performance tuning and optimization
Handling middleware installation, configuration, and patching
Responding to incidents and service requests
Supporting availability and capacity management
Troubleshoot and resolve middleware-related issues in production and non-production environments.
Process Improvement & Automation
Maintain middleware documentation for platforms, processes, and procedures.
Contribute to middleware operations alignment with DevOps and Agile methodologies.
Support automation initiatives for middleware management and operational tasks.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including database, compute, storage, network, and cloud teams.
Security & Compliance
Follow security best practices to ensure compliance with organizational and industry standards.
Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to support continuous improvement within middleware operations.
Assist in evaluating middleware infrastructure readiness for cloud migration initiatives.
Qualifications & Experience:
Around 3 years of hands-on experience supporting Oracle Fusion Middleware products such as Oracle Identity and Access Management, ADF, WebCenter, OSB, and BAM in on-premises and cloud environments (preferably Azure).
Familiarity with IT Service Management (ITSM) and ITIL frameworks; ITIL v4 certification is a plus.
Experience working with Linux and Windows environments.
Basic knowledge of scripting languages like Bash, Python, PowerShell, or Java.
Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
Understanding of networking concepts and security protocols.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently when required.
Good communication and documentation skills for effective stakeholder interaction.
Detail-oriented with a focus on quality, security, and continuous improvement.

Security Clearance Requirement: Given the secure nature of this role, we are seeking candidates who are Australian Citizens with an active security clearance.
This requirement ensures that all team members are cleared to handle sensitive information and contribute to maintaining the highest standards of security in our operations.
On-call and Shift Expectations: Our positions are primarily focused on managed services, meaning you will be responsible for maintaining and improving our clients' IT systems (Applications and Infrastructure). Flexibility and adaptability are key, as you may be required to work in shifts to provide continuous support. Additionally, you may need to be on call to address incidents promptly and perform after-hours deployment activities as needed. Your ability to effectively manage these responsibilities will be crucial to ensuring the seamless operation of our services and client satisfaction
