Project Manager – Data Platform Migration (Snowflake/GCP)

Initial 6–12 Month Contract | Major Enterprise Program | Hybrid WFH/Melbourne CBD

We’re partnering with a leading organisation undergoing a significant data platform migration from Teradata and GCP to Snowflake. With 30–40 data professionals already embedded and delivery underway, we’re now seeking a Project Manager to bring structure, governance, and leadership across the program.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate the delivery of a large-scale data migration and transformation program
• Establish project governance, delivery oversight, and reporting processes
• Drive program-wide alignment and ensure work is delivered in the right sequence and structure
• Prepare and present updates to the steering committee (SteerCo) every few weeks
• Collaborate with data leadership and technical leads across multiple business units
• Oversee vendor relationships and manage performance/delivery expectations
• Support the organisation’s vision of enabling self-service reporting and data access across business units
• Embed data governance and data quality standards across the project
  
  

What We’re Looking For

• Proven experience managing data platform migrations, transformations, or large-scale implementations
• Ability to bring structure and oversight to complex, multi-stream delivery environments
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, including steering committee reporting
• Platform-agnostic mindset, but experience with Snowflake, GCP, Teradata or similar is a bonus
• Comfortable managing vendor relationships and aligning technical and business teams
