About The Role

Junior Consultants within the AtmosTM Cyber Advisory team play a crucial role in supporting our clients to become more cyber resilient.

As cyber advisors, our team makes a meaningful impact, providing our clients with market leading cyber operational resilience and cyber risk reduction support.

This role would suit a graduate lawyer with developing cyber incident response experience / interest obtained during the course of their studies.

Our work is fast paced, so you will develop core skills and experience at a much faster rate compared to some other firms. Our consultants will be supported by a more senior role but will be heavily involved in all aspects of client work. This gives our people the opportunity to make a significant contribution to successful outcomes.

The Partners and Directors encourage all members of the team to foster client relationships and regular opportunities are provided for the team to engage in business development.

You will work with clients large and small across all sectors, as well as partners, lawyers, cyber consultants, crisis communications professionals and threat intelligence consultants across our network of offices in Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne and Auckland.

Responsibilities

You will provide crucial support to our senior staff within the cyber advisory team to:

  • Support delivery of client-facing incident response and cyber resilience engagements, such as developing incident response plans and decision-making frameworks, participating in simulation exercises etc.
  • Advise clients on cyber resilience and regulatory obligations.
  • Participate in sales initiatives with clients to generate leads and sales.
  • Maintain client relationships and grow contact points.

Key Skills And Experience

  • A passion for cyber and supporting clients to achieve their cyber resilience objectives.
  • Recently graduated or about to graduate in a Bachelor of Law (or similar).
  • Experience / interest in incident response through the course of their studies.
  • Good stakeholder management skills with the ability to work closely across various complementary functional teams.
  • Excellent time management skills and an ability to effectively manage competing priorities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • An ability to thrive in a fast-paced rapidly changing environment with a critical mind and fine-tuned problem-solving abilities.
  • Demonstrated teamwork and collaboration skills.
