First impressions count. To get our guests’ memorable experiences off to an unforgettable start, we're seeking a dynamic professional for our Reservations department to provide exceptional internal and external communications. You'll ensure timely and accurate reservation entries, making transactions feel seamless.

Every day is different, but you’ll mostly be:

  • Process inquiries for both individual travellers and groups warmly and courteously.
  • Ensure priority booking for IHG Rewards members, Ambassadors, Corporate clients, VIPs, and returning guests.
  • Address all queries via phone, email, and third parties promptly.
  • Ensure all booking details, including guest profiles and special requests, are updated accurately.
  • Taking, managing, and receiving payments for guest bookings
  • Stay updated on room rates and promotions, working closely with the Reservations team and Director of Sales and Marketing to maximise bookings.

What We need from you:

  • Energetic, friendly, and organized team player.
  • Communication skills - you will need to be able to respond to a variety of guest queries and concerns, so you’ll be easy to understand on the phone or via email.
  • Strong multitasking and service recovery abilities.
  • Focused on accuracy, thoroughness, and quality.
  • Literate and tech-savvy - you’ll need a good grasp of reading, writing, basic maths and computer skills
  • Previous experience as a reservations or senior guest service agent is beneficial
  • Knowledge of the Opera property management system is a plus.
