Role Overview

As a Business Development Lead, you will drive revenue growth, spearhead initiatives to identify and cultivate strategic partnerships and expand our market presence. Leveraging your industry expertise and network, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our business development strategy and executing high-impact deals.

Being our Lead on the ground in Singapore you will be responsible for the pace setting for our Singapore growth. We are at a Scale-up phase and looking to bring on board people who will be able to take ownership of our expansion into Singapore/SEA . Driven by our mission and values, this is an opportunity for someone who is entrepreneurial in nature and looking to expand their capabilities to drive results.

You will be empowered to set up our sales function in Singapore whilst working closely with our Leadership team in Australia.Our engineering, product and data science Teams are also at your disposal to really understand how our product is changing the future of MMM. Being part of a scale up you also have regular access to the CEO.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Partnership Development: Identify, evaluate, and establish relationships with potential partners to drive business growth and enhance our service offerings.

Market Analysis: Conduct thorough market research to identify emerging trends, competitive landscape, and new business opportunities.

Sales Enablement: Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to develop compelling value propositions, sales materials, and go-to-market strategies.

Deal Negotiation: Lead negotiations for partnership agreements, ensuring mutually beneficial terms and alignment with company objectives.

Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with product, engineering and marketing science teams to ensure seamless integration and execution of partnerships.

Performance Tracking: Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the effectiveness of business development initiatives and inform strategic decisions.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; an MBA is a plus.

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in business development, sales, or strategic partnerships within the Advertising, Media, or Marketing Mix Modeling (MMM) sector.

  • In-depth knowledge of the Singapore market is essential — we are looking to make a significant impact in the region, and your ability to leverage existing relationships will be key to driving results.

  • Proven track record of managing a diverse portfolio of high-value partnerships, engaging effectively with stakeholders ranging from C-suite executives to senior marketing leaders.

  • Executive presence and confidence — you will be our representative in Southeast Asia, so the ability to command a room and speak as a subject matter expert is critical.

  • Data-driven mindset — we are a performance-oriented business where decisions are backed by insights and analytics.

  • Strong analytical and technical curiosity — our product is complex, and a genuine interest in understanding how it works is vital to your success.

  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills in English, both written and verbal. Business proficiency in Mandarin is also a plus

  • Willingness and ability to travel as required across the region.
