About the Role
As a Business Development Manager, you will lead the creation of business opportunities that generate new revenue through strategic business development initiatives.
This is a role focused on:
- Identifying and securing new long-term contracts across market sectors
- Developing proposals and potential client engagement strategies
- Managing a robust pipeline of opportunities
- Becoming a recognised industry expert in targeted verticals
You’ll work closely with our Operational teams, Senior Leaders and Bid Services team to align growth strategy with capability—and ensure a consistent, high-quality client experience.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Develop deep expertise in key market sectors and establish strong client relationships
- Identify new business opportunities and manage an active sales pipeline in our HubSpot CRM system
- Attend industry events and meetings to build client rapport and position Green by Nature favourably
- Collaborate across the business to align service offerings with market needs
- Support excellence in bid development, tender timelines, and pricing accuracy
- Champion safety, sustainability, and ethical practices in all business activity
What You’ll Bring
- Proven track record in business development, strategic sales, or contract acquisition in B2B services
- Tertiary qualification in Business, Sales, or a related discipline—or significant relevant experience
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement skills
- Organised, self-motivated, and capable of managing competing priorities
- Experience of working cross-functionally in a dynamic environment
- Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office
- A passion for sustainability and making a real impact
