Project Manager - Lifecycle

We currently have an opportunity for a Project Manager (Lifecycle). Join our Health and Education team in Bendigo and play a key role in ensuring the effective delivery of asset lifecycle projects that maintain facility integrity, support operational efficiency, and contribute to long-term strategic asset management goals. Reporting to Asset Manager, you'll help deliver high-quality outcomes that support our essential services.
What You'll Do
This role offers a broad scope, with key responsibilities including:
- Manage end-to-end asset lifecycle projects, including planning, procurement, implementation, commissioning, and financial reporting within agreed timelines and budgets.
- Ensure all changes to facilities-such as additions or modifications-are accurately recorded in asset registers and maintenance management systems.
- Oversee contractor management to ensure compliance with safety procedures, including conducting site inductions and monitoring safe work practices.
- Support the development and delivery of strategic asset management plans, including estimating costs and defining scopes for annual, five-year, and minor works projects.
- Contribute to the effective functioning of facilities operations by managing special projects, resolving ad-hoc tasks, and providing project support as needed.
What You'll Bring
- Tertiary qualification in Project Management or a related field.
- Demonstrated experience in Project Management, Asset Management, or Facilities Management within large or complex facilities.
- Proven ability to develop, manage, and control budgets while meeting financial and project delivery targets.
- Strong knowledge of maintenance service contracts, lifecycle costing, and statutory compliance including WHS and building codes.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and prioritisation skills, with the ability to thrive under pressure and influence outcomes effectively.
