Azure Cloud Achitect

An exciting opportunity for an experienced Cloud Architect to join a NSW Government Agency. We are looking for someone with demonstrated success in end-to-end solutions on the Azure platform. The ideal candidate will preferably be Microsoft certified and available immediate or short notice.

Key Responsibilities

• Designing and implementing scalable, secure, and high-performance solutions on the Azure platform.
• Collaborating with IT stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Leading and managing technical cloud implementation projects, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to best practices.
• Providing technical leadership and mentorship to development teams.
• Evaluating the current IT landscape and designing future-state architectures that align with business goals.
• Creating and maintaining comprehensive architectural documentation and project plans.
• Staying updated with the latest Azure technologies and industry trends to drive continuous improvement and innovation.
• Designing cloud and hybrid solutions that run on Azure.
  
  

Key Requirements

• Proven experience in cloud architecture, with a focus on Azure.
• Proficiency in Azure services including but not limited to Azure DevOps, Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), Azure Functions, and Azure SQL Database.
• Strong project management skills with experience in leading technical projects.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and lead development teams.
• Azure Solutions Architect Expert certification is highly desirable.
