We are currently seeking a Senior Business Development Manager – APAC to join our team in a permanent, full-time capacity. This role is responsible for driving revenue growth by developing and managing strategic client relationships, leading sales initiatives, and expanding Skills Group’s presence across the APAC region. You will play a critical role in identifying and securing new opportunities while maintaining long-term client relationships.

Job Description

What you'll be doing:

  • Develop and execute strategic business development plans to expand Skills Group’s reach in APAC.
  • Identify and cultivate new business opportunities, securing high-value clients across key industries.
  • Lead contract negotiations and close high-value deals that align with the organisation’s strategic objectives.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with government bodies, industry associations, and key decision-makers.
  • Oversee pipeline management, ensuring consistent revenue growth and meeting key performance targets.
  • Monitor competitor activities and market trends, adjusting strategies to maintain a competitive advantage.
  • Work closely with internal teams, including marketing, product, and delivery, to align business development efforts with organisational capabilities.
  • Represent Skills Group at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities.

Desired Skills And Experience

What you’ll bring:

  • A bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field, or equivalent related experience.
  • At least 8 years of experience in business development or sales leadership within APAC.
  • A proven track record in managing high-value accounts and achieving sales targets.
  • Strong knowledge of workforce development, training, and vocational education.
  • Excellent negotiation, presentation, and communication skills.
  • The ability to develop and execute strategic business plans that drive sustainable revenue growth.
  • High cultural intelligence and the ability to work in diverse markets.
