Group General Manager - Education SaaS ERP

As the Group General Manager for Education & Core Services, we're seeking a leader with a solid technical foundation in software engineering and architecture, deep SaaS ERP experience, and strong commercial acumen in a large enterprise environment. You'll define and execute product strategy, driving market growth through innovative, high-quality solutions that align with customer needs and business goals.

What you'll be doing…

• Lead and collaborate with highly technical teams, ensuring you leverage your deep software engineering expertise to effectively guide and support them.
• Oversee the Higher Education & Core Services teams in developing MxP, embedding the TechnologyOne Way, Leadership Model, and Compelling Customer Experience while driving change, fostering continuous improvement, and aligning product strategies with business objectives.
• Mentor and develop product leaders, ensuring best practices, strategic alignment, and career progression while overseeing the development, delivery, and execution of TechnologyOne's product roadmaps with a focus on quality, innovation, and market relevance.
• Own and drive the Products & Technology strategy, identifying technological advancements, market opportunities, and effective product positioning through collaboration with the SLT and other stakeholders.
• Lead and inspire a high-performing team of engineers, architects, and product managers, fostering innovation, collaboration, and adherence to TechnologyOne's product and project management methodologies.
• Stay ahead of market trends and competition, leveraging industry knowledge to guide product development, mitigate risks, and form strategic partnerships that drive long-term success.
• Take full accountability for the P&L of group products, ensuring growth and profitability targets are met, presenting compelling business cases for investment decisions, and optimizing resource management.
• Enhance customer support models, drive continuous product innovation, improve operational efficiency, and ensure compliance with company policies, work health and safety requirements, and industry best practices.
• Lead a team of Product General Managers with specialists in Product Development, System & Product Architecture, Project Management, Product Success, Product Delivery & Training, Product Testing, Product Releases & Practices, and Customer Support.

Your Talents…

• Mandatory: A solid technical foundation in software engineering and architecture is critical for success in this role
• In-depth knowledge of SaaS ERP or enterprise-class ERP solutions
• Proven experience in developing and executing product roadmaps for highly commercial Software and SaaS solutions.
• Deep expertise in the full product lifecycle, from concept through market release and continuous improvement.
• Strong leadership experience within a medium ASX-listed company, with a demonstrated ability to drive transformational change.
• A track record of successfully leading large, high-performing teams across geographically dispersed locations.
• Extensive knowledge of TechnologyOne, relevant industry groups, and key technical domains.
• Executive-level communication, negotiation, and public speaking skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders effectively.
• Well-established industry network across mid-to-large enterprise customers in Australia and New Zealand.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; a Master's degree is preferred.
