About the opportunity
The Production Estimating Systems Officer is primarily responsible for the identification, analysis and correction of anomalies and errors. Reporting to the Estimating Development Manager, the role will be focused on collection of data, data analysis and root cause analysis. The findings will be presented and reported to stakeholders with recommendations for remedial actions, ensuring the approved recommendations are followed through.
More specifically, you will be:
• Processing Extras to Schedule (ETS’s)
• Analysing ETS Data to identify causes that are affecting margins within the business
• Monitoring and implementing proposed solutions, ensuring adherence to established strategies
• Working collaboratively with cross functional teams to understand the broader context of issues impacting margin
• Maintaining high standards in the work that you produce despite pressing deadlines
• Always upholding safe working practices and behaviours
• Leading by example to promote an inclusive, positive and innovative work environment
About you
You will share a passion for our purpose to be Australia’s number one residential builder and be aligned to our core values. In addition, you will demonstrate:
• Previous estimating experience in residential construction
• Understanding of Building Code of Australia
• Exceptional computer skills with a medium to advanced knowledge of Excel
• Outstanding attention to detail with the ability to meet deadlines and strive to reach targets
• Experience in BusinessCraft, and / or Companion systems would be advantageous but is not essential
