Lawyer (Industrial & Employment)

We are seeking a lawyer to join our client's growing industrial & employment team. This position is on a permanent, full-time basis (applicants seeking part-time work will be considered). They provide you with a collaborative environment, support, and the ability to develop your skills.

Requirements

The successful applicant will demonstrate:

• 1-8 years post-admission experience;
• Experience in employment and industrial law;
• Excellent written and verbal communication, and interpersonal skills;
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to build relationships and trust;
• An ability to work independently and as part of a team;
• Excellent organisational skills, with high attention to detail;
• Excellent time management skills, and commitment to drive matters to resolution in a timely manner;
• The ability to speak to clients from different backgrounds;
• A solutions focused outlook with a proactive approach to deliver quality outcomes;
• A desire to learn and grow.
  
  

Desirable Criteria

• Experience in conducting litigation in Courts and Tribunals;
• Experience with conciliation conferences or mediations;
• Experience with FilePro, or other legal software.
