Platform Engineer/DevOps Engineer

A major government agency is seeking an experienced Senior Platform Engineer (Sr. DevOps Engineer) for a 12-month contract to lead the design, automation, and management of cloud-based data infrastructure-primarily focused on Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW) systems.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Designing and managing enterprise-scale data infrastructure in the cloud (AWS, Azure)
• Driving automation through infrastructure-as-code and CI/CD pipelines
• Ensuring seamless integration of EDW with modern tools like dbt, Airflow, and other cloud-native services
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams including data engineers, architects, and platform specialists
• Enhancing observability, security, and performance of data systems
  
  

We’re Looking For

• 5+ years of experience in Data & Analytics Platforms
• Hands-on experience with SAS Grid, SAS Visual Analytics & Teradata
• Strong understanding of DevOps integration in data environments
• Proven expertise in enterprise solution delivery and system integration
• Government experience preferred
  
  

Nice To Have

• Certifications in SAS, Teradata, DevOps, Agile, or ITIL
