In the role of Associate Economics, you will join the Economics team that’s doubling down on winning together.
Each day, you’ll go above and beyond to:
- Undertake report writing on economic data, our Business Surveys and internal transactions data.
- Collect and analyse data that contributes to the assessment and forecasting of Australian economic and financial conditions.
- Generate timely and insightful research/thematic reports on the Australian economy.
- Provide ad hoc analysis where required for both internal and external stakeholders.
- Knowledge of the Australian economy and drivers of global markets.
- Strong analytical research capabilities and excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
- Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a highly complex and numerate environment.
- Knowledge of key statistical/econometric tools including eViews and R.
- Knowledge of or willingness to develop skills in data extraction and analysis with a focus on visualisation and presentation.
- Relevant experience, with tertiary qualifications in Economics/Commerce (or related) preferred.
