The Opportunity

As the demand for HenderCare services has increased in the community, we are looking for dedicated support workers to join our team to provide support to a service recipient with disability in their home in Port Augusta.
In this casual role you will work a mixture of day, afternoon and night shifts throughout the week to ensure our clients is provided with 24/7 care.

About The Role
In this casual role, some of the services you'll be providing include:
- Personal care, like showering and dressing
- Person transfers
- Meal preparation
- Assistance eating
- Light domestic duties
- Respite and social support
Our Ideal Candidate
Previous experience in providing personal care and domestic services to people with a disability is essential to be successful in this role.
You Must Also Hold
- Certificate 3 or 4 in Individual Support, Disability or equivalent
- Current Provide First Aid Certificate HLTAID012 (previously HLTAID003)
- Current Provide CPR Certificate HLTAID009 (previously HLTAID001)
- Current Manual Handling Certificate
- Current National Police Check
- Current Working with Children Check
- Current NDIS Workers Check
- Full Drivers License and access to your own car
