Reporting directly to the CFO, the Financial Controller will oversee and enhance the finance function, ensuring accurate, timely and insightful financial reporting and analysis. This is a broad, high-impact leadership role encompassing budgeting, forecasting, statutory compliance, team leadership, systems optimisation and commercial support. The successful candidate will drive improved operational and financial outcomes through robust governance, enhanced decision support and the development of practical, forward-looking analytical tools. They will collaborate closely with the Executive Leadership Team, general managers and external partners including auditors, tax advisors and financial institutions to support strategic planning, manage financial risk and ensure compliance with regulatory and reporting standards.
The ideal candidate will be a CA or CPA-qualified finance professional with strong technical accounting expertise and a proven record of senior financial leadership - preferably within complex, asset-intensive or project-based environments. They will be commercially focused, with a hands-on approach, strong business acumen and a commitment to continuous improvement. A collaborative leader, they will possess excellent stakeholder engagement skills, experience in building and leading high-performing teams, and a dedication to operational excellence.
