Position Profile: WA Health is seeking a skilled, hands-on, and solutions-focused professional to join the Budget & Strategy Unit as a Principal Business Analyst. In this key role, you will lead the coordination and delivery of financial, budgetary, business, and policy analysis to support health system resourcing in line with strategic and service delivery priorities. You’ll be responsible for developing complex budget and funding models, translating financial data into meaningful insights to inform decision-making, and supporting performance oversight across the system. The role also contributes to the continuous improvement of WA Health’s financial management frameworks, tools, and processes. Working closely with both internal and external stakeholders, this position offers a unique opportunity to shape how the health system is funded—while staying deeply connected to data, delivery, and operational outcomes.
