The Role
The Senior Structural Project Engineer will lead the design review, analysis and execution of complex construction projects. You will drive structural integrity, ensure compliance with industry standards and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver safe, cost-effective and high-quality structures. You will have a strong technical foundation and a proactive problem-solving mindset.

The Senior Structural Project Engineer will lead the design review, analysis and execution of complex construction projects. You will drive structural integrity, ensure compliance with industry standards and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver safe, cost-effective and high-quality structures. You will have a strong technical foundation and a proactive problem-solving mindset.
Key Responsibiilities
- Lead structural design reviews, procurement and installation on site, ensuring compliance with Australian standards
- Develop and approve structural packages, aligning with project specifications and feasibility
- Conduct site assessments to ensure structural integrity and construction suitability
- Apply advance structural analysis to optimize construction methods
- Prepare and review technical drawings, ensuring accuracy and compliance
- Manage budgets, contracts and procurement, optimising financial efficiency
- Lead quality assurance, providing training and oversight to uphold construction excellence
- Drive a safety-first culture, conducting structural construction and component related risk assessments and implementing preventative measures
- Collaborate with project managers, architects and other site teams for structural integration
- Lead technical discussions, providing expert guidance to teams, contractors and clients
- Degree in Structural or Civil Engineering (accredited by Engineers Australia if obtained overseas)
- Over 7 years experience in structural engineering across design review, analysis and execution of large-scale projects with at least 3 years in Australia
- Proficiency in MS Office, BIM and project management software (e.g Procore)
- PMP certification is a strong advantage
- Ability to oversee structural engineering from design review to completion
- Ability to idently and implement efficient solutions in structural design and execution
