For us, these are exciting times. There's a real potential for big thinkers to help us redefine what financial services could be. And turn our legacy into something even more positive and powerful for the future.

Help people create their tomorrow, while you create yours

We help people with their banking, super, retirement and finances. Through upturns, downturns, recessions, and major life transitions. Every day, we help people see and make more of their financial potential, so that they can create their tomorrow. And we've been doing it for over 170 years.

If we do our job well, we genuinely add to the prosperity of our country and its people.

This is a fantastic opportunity to step into a meaningful role that blends learning, compliance and employee development. Whether your background is in HR, learning and development or compliance, this position offers a chance to grow your own career within a supportive environment. As the Advisor, Leadership and Learning, you will play a pivotal role in managing and enhancing AMP's compliance training programs. You will be responsible for coordinating the delivery of compliance training across the organisation, ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements and maintaining governance standards. Your work will directly support AMP's commitment to a well-informed and risk-aware workforce.

You will also serve as the product owner for compliance learning within AMP's HRIS (Oracle LMS), overseeing the end-to-end administration of compliance training. This includes managing system updates, troubleshooting issues, monitoring completion rates and collaborating with subject matter experts to develop engaging learning content.

  • Provide Tier 2 support to employees and managers for training-related queries
  • Monitor training completion rates and report on effectiveness
  • Maintain governance documentation to ensure compliance with regulatory standards
  • Prepare materials and reports for the quarterly Compliance Learning Committee
  • Assist in the design and development of eLearning modules using Articulate Rise
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to ensure content is accurate, relevant and engaging

What you will bring to the role

  • Tertiary qualifications
  • Solid project management, time management and organisational skills with a focus on designing efficient processes
  • Prior experience with learning management systems
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and team-player attitude
  • Familiarity with tools like Articulate Rise, SharePoint, and Microsoft.

Experience in a compliance or learning and development role will be highly regarded, along with a Cert IV in Training & Assessment (or equivalent). Experience with learning systems and an interest in regulatory practices and adult learning are also valuable.

Relevant tertiary qualifications in areas such as Business, Human Resource Management, Adult Learning or Coaching are also desirable.

You are someone who builds exceptional, collaborative relationships and communicates with confidence. You are comfortable working with a wide range of stakeholders and know how to influence and negotiate effectively across all levels of the business.

Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement is key to this role. You can clearly present ideas, facilitate group discussions and adapt your message to suit different audiences whether you're writing content, delivering updates or supporting team members.

In addition to being organised, proactive and able to manage multiple priorities, you bring a structured approach to your work and can guide others through change in a way that's thoughtful and sustainable.

A digital-first mindset is essential. You are confident using technology and enjoy exploring new tools that enhance learning experiences and improve how we work. You are always looking for more efficient ways to deliver high-quality outcomes.

You'll thrive here if…

If you can adapt from BAU to the ambiguous with ease, you'll do well here. Change is never easy, so bring your commitment, grit and growth mindset.

Because we run lean, you'll be expected to jump in and deliver across a variety of areas. Meaning, you'll be closer to the action and executive decisions that influence where we go next.

If you're someone that can hold their own, you'll find AMP quite liberating.

Why we think you'll love working at AMP

In fact, most of what makes AMP such a welcoming, enjoyable place to work are our people. Wherever you go, you'll find moments to connect, feel valued and do meaningful work.
