We are Mining Plus - a leading mining technical services provider, consisting of professionals specializing in Geology, Mining Engineering (Surface & Underground), Geotechnical Engineering, Mine Ventilation, and Operations Optimization. We cover the full mining lifecycle from due diligence and financing (‘Define’), project technical studies (‘Plan’), through to boots on the ground execution as project partners (‘Operate’).

Mining Plus has an opportunity for a full-time Administrator to join our team in Perth to help our Support Team.

About The Role

Billing and Invoicing:

  • Oversee the preparation, processing, and issuance of client invoices to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
  • Manage credit notes, adjustments, and ensure all billing details align with client agreements and internal systems.

Account Reconciliation And Management

  • Reconcile supplier accounts, verify transactions, and resolve discrepancies with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Monitor and ensure accurate maintenance of client and supplier financial records.

Reporting And Compliance

  • Assist in period-end reporting and support audit processes by ensuring documentation is complete and accurate.
  • Support financial reviews, including prepayment and accrual management.

Purchase Order And Payment Oversight

  • Manage the creation, approval, and processing of purchase orders, ensuring proper cost allocation and timely payments.

Client And Supplier Relations

  • Serve as a liaison for client and supplier billing inquiries, providing prompt and accurate responses.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to resolve any financial issues and ensure smooth communication.

General HR Support

  • Assist with onboarding, offboarding, and employee lifecycle administration.
  • Contribute to payroll preparation and HR reporting.

Office Coordination & Admin

  • Book domestic and international travel and accommodation.
  • Assist in processing expense claims.
  • Manage uniform stock levels and IT asset coordination.
  • Organize employee engagement activities, events, and recognition initiatives.
  • Perform general admin duties as needed.

What We’re Looking For

  • Diploma in business, or a similar relevant field or 3+ years in related roles (preferably in mining industries)
  • Proficiency with computers and accounting software
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage with professionals at various levels.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent administrative, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Problem-solving mindset with the ability to escalate issues when necessary.
  • Ability to work independently while also thriving in a team-oriented environment.
  • Unrestricted working rights in Australia.
