About the Role


As a Senior Accountant / Manager, you will:


  • Lead and Manage: Supervise a team of accounting professionals, providing guidance, mentorship, and fostering a collaborative team culture.
  • Client Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with a diverse portfolio of clients, offering tailored accounting and advisory services.
  • Technical Expertise: Oversee the preparation and review of financial statements, tax returns, and compliance documents, ensuring accuracy and adherence to regulations.
  • Advisory Services: Provide strategic business advice, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning, to support clients' growth and wealth accumulation.
  • Process Improvement: Identify and implement process enhancements to improve efficiency and service delivery within the firm.


Key Responsibilities


  • Manage a portfolio of SME clients across various industries, delivering high-quality accounting and advisory services.
  • Lead the preparation and review of financial reports, tax returns, and compliance documents.
  • Provide strategic business advice, including cash flow management, budgeting, and financial forecasting.
  • Mentor and develop junior staff, fostering professional growth and maintaining a positive team environment.
  • Stay abreast of industry developments and regulatory changes to ensure compliance and provide informed advice to clients.


Requirements


  • CPA or CA certification.
  • Minimum of 5 plus years in public practice accounting.
  • Proficiency in Xero and Microsoft Excel; familiarity with other accounting software is advantageous.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead a team, manage workflows, and drive process improvements.
