About the Opportunity:

  • Prepared and served nutritious meals in accordance with dietary requirements and aged care standards.
  • Assisted with meal plating, portion control, and food presentation to ensure resident satisfaction.
  • Maintained cleanliness and hygiene in food preparation and dining areas, following HACCP guidelines.
  • Supported residents during mealtimes with compassion and patience, promoting dignity and independence.
  • Monitored food temperatures and storage conditions to ensure safety and compliance.
  • Collaborated with kitchen staff and care teams to accommodate special dietary needs and preferences.

You will also be required to provide evidence of, or in the process of obtaining:

  • Current Food Handling Certificate
  • Experience in working in the catering industry
  • National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) Clearance.
