About the Role

Do you thrive on creating content that wows users and makes digital products sing? As a Content Specialist at MYOB, you’ll shape impactful customer experiences through sharp, strategic writing. Your role will be diverse – from setting content strategy to crafting flawless UI copy, your words will directly influence how customers interact with what we do
We're on the lookout for a creative thinker who knows the power of words to inspire, engage, and solve problems. Strategic yet detail-oriented, you’ve got a knack for simplifying the complex and collaborating with others to achieve results that resonate
Please note that this is a 12month Fixed-Term Contract with the potential to extend.

Here’s what you’ll find yourself doing...

    • Transforming complex ideas into clear, engaging messages that align with MYOB’s dynamic voice and tone
    • Facilitating workshops and collaborating with teams to build alignment and uncover innovative content solutions
    • Seamlessly navigating between crafting content strategy and jumping into hands-on writing tasks when needed
    • Applying your expertise in usability testing, information architecture, and research methods to ensure content is not only accurate but also meaningful and effective for diverse audiences
    • Owning content guidelines, helping to streamline cross-functional projects, and partnering with leadership to define goals and create action-oriented roadmaps

Here’s what we'd love to see from you...

    • Proven experience writing and managing content across multiple platforms and channels
    • A strong understanding of design thinking principles and their application (think user personas, journey maps, and robust critique processes)
    • Passion for connecting with audiences and telling stories that matter
    • Exceptional writing and editing skills, with the ability to adapt tone and style to diverse brand needs
    • A sharp eye for detail and a problem-solving mindset; you enjoy working autonomously while delivering high-quality results
    • Outstanding collaboration and interpersonal abilities, with an intuitive sense of how to tailor communication to different teams and stakeholders
