Are you an experienced Water Resources Engineer ready to make your mark?

Innovative? Dynamic? An environment where your technical skills and creativity can shine?

Ready to bring your industry experience into an uplifting team? A team who’s motivated and cheering each other on. You’ll be joining a direct team of 7, but in the wider business, 80 plus.

Your new gig has been behind some impressive projects, making waves in strategic engineering and stormwater management.

With over 40 years of success in Greater Sydney, this organisation has played a pivotal role in both the public and private sectors, designing, managing, and delivering ground-breaking land development and civil infrastructure projects.

Based out of Penrith CBD, a brand-new office, all the facilities you could dream of. Ample parking, public transport facilities, cafes and shopping centres. You’re spoilt for choice. Oh, and who doesn’t love a 3pm knock-off every Friday!

About The Role

As the Water Resources Engineer, you’ll support clients and their projects, ranging from land developers to government agencies. With a comprehensive range of engineering services to manage, flooding risk and stormwater through investigations, modeling, design, mapping and reporting.

You’ll assess, model and report on stormwater and floodplain systems across urban, rural and coastal environments. Alongside this, helping design detention basins, wetlands and reuse systems. Not just on paper, but in a way that’s buildable and maintainable.

You'll focus on creating innovative solutions in hydrological, hydraulic and water quality modeling, using your proficiency in tools like MUSIC, DRAINS, TUFLOW and QGIS.

About You

You know your TUFLOW, MUSIC and DRAINS softwares. You actually understand what they’re doing.

You might air more towards stormwater management experience. Or Floodplain. Bonus points if you have experience across both. Either way, you’ll be coming in with around 2 or 3 years of experience. You’ll come with your Civil or Environmental Engineering degree too.

You’re comfortable moving between hydraulic modelling, stormwater assessments and water balance planning. You’ll bring knowledge and experience with the preparation and maintenance of project plans to achieve TCQ objectives.

Client liaison, communication and collaboration is a strong suite of yours. You like to contribute ideas, demonstrate your experience to others. Is growth important to you? If so, you're in the right place.

Your new organisation

A trusted and highly respected partner in providing innovative Civil Engineering and Project Management services, for Land Development and Infrastructure projects is just a small snippet of who they are. It’s the people. The culture. The environment. They’ve built a strong reputation across the Greater Sydney region over the last 40 years.

As a land developer or Government client, they’ll have access to a complete range of services across strategic engineering, planning, project management, civil engineering design, stormwater management and more! To say you’ll have some pretty impressive colleagues and mentors is an understatement.

You’ll be working with a collaborative, forward-thinking team that values your contributions. Your career is front-of-mind, so growing in a role that offers leadership opportunities and technical challenges is the kind of environment you’ll get to enjoy.
