This position is based at Voyages Corporate Office, Sydney.

Our Sydney based Reservations team support people to make a trip of a lifetime to the heart of Australia. We provide support to our trade travel partners, helping them with bookings and questions via phone, email or chat.

In the role of Quality and Support Specialist you will lead the development of process improvements to improve ways of working and enhance customer related processes.

Your Key Role Will See You

  • Create and compile reservation - related reports
  • Mentor and assist the team in relation to compliance and service expectations
  • Collaborate cross department and play an active role in improving the customer journey
  • Mentor agents within the escalation process clarifying protocols and when and how to escalate issue to their team leaders for problem resolution
  • Develop and update internal materials for team members and other relevant stakeholder, so that internal documentation reflect current guidelines, processes and business standards

You will have:

  • 4-5 years' experience in Hospitality or similar customer service role within hotels, front office, or travel
  • High school or equivalent education required
  • Knowledge of Micros Fidelio Opera Reservations or Property Management System and/or other Hotel Front Office or Travel Agent System(s);
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Strong understanding of hotels, resorts, and their services
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
