About the Role

We are seeking a baseline security cleared defence (ideally) Recruitment Consultant to assist our RPO client with their technical defence recruitment. We are flexible as to where you are based in Australia.

Stakeholder management, relationship building and sourcing/head hunting capability are crucial factors for your success in this role. Your daily tasks include:

· Further develop your defence recruitment and market knowledge

· Deliver to client expectations in the land programme, recruiting roles such as Logistics Managers, Engineers of any flavour through to Project Coordinators (mostly across Melbourne and Canberra)

· Accountable for the complete end to end (360) recruitment process including but not limited to;

· Sourcing and qualifying a variety of defence candidates suitable for current vacancies, run accurate and comprehensive job briefs with Hiring Managers using such methods as databases searches, job board advertising and social media networks, screening and interviewing candidates (telephone, video or face to face), assessing work rights and clearances, arranging interviews with clients, salary information, reference checking, negotiating salaries and managing the expectations of candidates and clients

We're looking for

To be successful you will need to demonstrate/be:

· A Recruitment Resourcer looking to take the next step in their career or a Recruitment Consultant interested in the defence industry

· Defence experience or engineering recruitment experience is a bonus

· You must be an Australian Citizen and already baseline security cleared (clearance can be inactive, as long as you have held one in the past)

· Ability to meet KPIs set by your manager

· Persuasion & influencing skills

· Strong relationship building skills

· Solid organisational skills

· Possess that drive and hunger to succeed and ability to recruit niche defence roles

· Excellent computer skills in MS Office and ability to learn new systems quickly

· You will be flexible and agile, solutions focused, ambitious, honest, resilient and a general high energy go getter with a hunger to continue to grow and develop!
