Join Our Client’s Team as either a Systems or Network Administrator.
Well respected Australian healthcare company is looking for 2 Administrators to join their team to proactively provide 2nd level IT support for their Systems and Network and manage technical escalations from within the IT team. They offer an Inner City location with a flexible WFH policy, along with a generous salary package
The role will see you:
- Installing, configuring, updating and maintaining server software/hardware
- Maintaining IT standards across all systems under their jurisdiction
- Monitor system performance and ensure reliability and availability
- Respond to P1 and major incidents/outages, maintain solid and continued communication with appropriate teams
- Capacity and performance management of IT systems
- Maintain backup and recovery procedures
- Install, configure, and maintain network and telephony hardware and software
- Monitor network performance and ensure reliability and availability
- Document network and telephony configurations, changes, and procedures
- Collaborate with other IT staff to plan and implement network and telephony upgrades and improvements
- Maintaining IT standards across all network and telephony systems under their jurisdiction
- Maintain technical documentation
- Be part of a rotating paid on-call roster
You will bring to the role as much of the following as possibe:
- Good knowledge of Windows Technologies and Operating Systems (Messaging, DHCP, DNS, Active Directory, Group Policy, Terminal Services etc.)
- Good knowledge of virtualisation technologies (VMware and Hyper-V)
- Good knowledge of Citrix XenApp, deploying and maintaining a large Citrix farm
- Good knowledge of Office 365 and other cloud services (Azure, AWS etc.)
- South knowledge of device management platforms (SCCM and InTune) as an EUC
- Knowledge of Linux operating systems
- Knowledge of Storage systems (SAN, iSCSI, Fibre switching, LUN management and performance trouble shooting)
- Good knowledge of Network LAN and WAN Technologies and Operating Systems (Cisco, Routing and Switching, BGP, OSPF, DHCP, DNS and IP Addressing)
- Good knowledge of Firewall technologies
- Good knowledge of WiFi technologies
- Knowledge of Video Conferencing systems and solutions such as Polycom and Microsoft Teams
- Knowledge of VOIP technology including Call Centre configuration
