The Opportunity:
We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Part-Time Bookkeeper to manage the day-to-day financial transactions and reporting requirements of the group. You’ll work closely with the family office, providing accurate financial insights and supporting the ongoing success of their property holdings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate financial records using accounting software (e.g., Xero and MYOB)
- Reconcile bank statements and property-related accounts
- Manage accounts payable/receivable and prepare BAS/IAS
- Support quarterly and annual reporting processes
- Maintain confidentiality and demonstrate a high level of professional integrity
What We’re Looking For:
- Proven experience in a bookkeeping or accounting role, preferably with exposure to property or investment sectors
- Strong understanding of Australian taxation and compliance requirements
- Excellent organisational and communication skills
- Proficiency with Xero and MYOB
- Ability to work independently, with flexibility and discretion
- A background in working with private or family-run businesses is highly desirable
