About the role
As our Video Producer, you'll bring Mamamia's beloved podcast shows to vibrant life across multiple social platforms. This is your chance to flex your creative muscles by transforming audio magic into captivating visual content that resonates with our audience of millions. You'll master each host's unique tone and style while crafting innovative video stories that drive growth and engagement.
Working in our dynamic Sydney office, you'll be at the heart of Australia's largest women's media network, creating content that entertains, inspires, and contributes to our mission of making the world a better place for women and girls.
Here's some of the stuff you can expect to be doing if you join us:
- Film, edit, and produce engaging social-first content optimised for platforms like YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, and more
- Master the art of platform-specific video creation, incorporating trending music, effects, and cutting-edge editing techniques
- Provide creative direction to hosts and collaborate closely with producers to realize compelling visual content
- Monitor audience interaction and gather insights to continuously improve content performance
- Work with commercial partners to execute branded campaigns that maintain our authentic voice
- Manage video assets efficiently while ensuring all content meets our high-quality standards
- Stay ahead of emerging social video trends and platform updates to keep our content fresh and engaging

- You have demonstrated experience creating compelling social-first video content that resonates with diverse audiences
- You're skilled in camera operation with a strong understanding of framing, lighting, and audio capture
- Your post-production techniques are top-notch, with proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro
- You're a natural collaborator who communicates effectively and handles feedback with openness and curiosity
- You have a knack for understanding audience needs and can adapt content strategies accordingly
- You thrive in fast-paced environments and enjoy solving creative challenges
- You're passionate about women's content and creating media that makes a difference
