What This Role Offers
With the commencement of our Gossan Valley Expansion project, an opportunity has arisen for a Senior Project Engineer to join our Golden Grove operation in Western Australia. In this role, you will report to the Project Manager (Gossan Valley) and work on a 4:3 roster.
Your focus will be on managing site projects, ensuring safe, efficient, and on-budget delivery.
This is an 18-month contract with the potential to extend to 24 months.

Candidates may be required to undergo pre-employment testing, including medical, respiratory mask fit testing, drug and alcohol screening, national police clearance, reference checks, and qualifications / licences checks.
- Contribute to the development of our brand-new Gossan Valley mine.
- Play a key role in the design and installation of new growth projects.
- Work with a multidisciplinary team to deliver civil, mechanical, and electrical surface infrastructure.

Your Primary Responsibilities Will Include
- Providing technical expertise and leadership in project initiation, cost estimation, budget submissions, and project delivery.
- Delivering structural, mechanical, and piping packages, while supporting the execution and consolidation of civil and electrical, instrumentation, and control (EIC) scopes.
- Managing contractors and ensuring quality workmanship and compliance with standards.
- Performing risk assessments, JSEAs, and safety investigations to ensure compliance with safety protocols.
- Reviewing and developing equipment strategies to align with statutory, Australian, and site standards.
Our ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical project engineering roles, including some exposure to design work.
Other Key Skills, Experience, And Qualifications
- Tertiary qualification in Mechanical Engineering.
- Proven track record in successfully delivering greenfield and / or brownfield projects.
- Supervisory experience in high-risk work.
- Current C-class manual driver’s licence.
