What This Role Offers
An opportunity has arisen for a Trainer Assessor to join our Golden Grove operation in Western Australia. In this role, you will report to the Maintenance Coordinator and work on an 8:6 roster.
Your focus will be on ensuring that mechanical trade employees are properly trained and competent by managing and delivering effective training programs and systems.
Your Primary Responsibilities Will Include
Our ideal candidate will be an experienced trainer with a background in mechanical maintenance, ideally within the mining or a related industry.

Your focus will be on ensuring that mechanical trade employees are properly trained and competent by managing and delivering effective training programs and systems.
Your Primary Responsibilities Will Include
- Collaborating with Supervisors and Coordinators to develop and implement annual training plans.
- Developing and maintaining training procedures, manuals, and competency assessments.
- Coordinating and delivering mechanical training programmes, including travel and accommodation.
- Supporting safety compliance by delivering HSEC training and maintaining accurate records.
- Providing on-site training during shutdowns and assisting with incident investigations.
- Monitoring and reporting training progress to maintain departmental skills and competencies.
Our ideal candidate will be an experienced trainer with a background in mechanical maintenance, ideally within the mining or a related industry.
Other Key Skills, Experience, And Qualifications
- Mechanical trade certificate.
- Formal training and assessment qualification.
- Experience in developing and delivering trade-based training.
- Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite and training management systems, such as InTuition.
- Current C-class manual driver’s licence.
