Lead IT Test Analyst

We are seeking experienced individuals to join the Enterprise Solutions and Technology business line.

As a Lead IT Test Analyst (EL 1), you’ll lead testing projects from establishment to closure. This includes determination of testing scope, partner engagement, document management, test planning, execution and scheduling. You’ll oversee team coordination, reporting of test metrics and test closure activities, and be responsible for governance of testing activities and ensuring best practice, aligned to the ATO’s frameworks and industry standards.

You will undertake function, system or performance testing of the interfaces and systems which make up the ATO’s core business processing systems. You’ll source and analyse design documents, and assist in the preparation, peer-review and execution of test scripts. You’ll manage complex issues, defects and incidents, in line with assigned work from the Scrum Master or Team Lead.

You will drive the development of continual service improvement plans to ensure the IT infrastructure adequately supports business needs.

These roles may be offered on an ongoing or non-ongoing basis in Adelaide, Albury, Brisbane CBD, Canberra, Melbourne CBD, Newcastle or Wollongong. A merit pool may be formed and used to fill future similar vacancies in these locations and other locations within the same metropolitan area.
