The Role
We are seeking an experienced APS6 API Integration Support Specialist to join a dynamic and fast paced team within a major government agency. This role involves contributing to innovative ICT-based solutions to improve critical national services.
Key Duties And Responsibilities
- Maintain and configure MuleSoft and IBM API Connect APIs and applications, and troubleshoot issues in collaboration with external vendors.
- Liaise with and assist digital partners in registering and subscribing to APIs, while monitoring and reporting on API health, performance, and statistics.
- Apply ITIL best practices for incident management and service requests, and actively participate in system improvement sprints.
- Develop and maintain documentation on support processes, policies, and configurations, while managing confidential and sensitive information.
- More than 5 years’ experience working with APIs and/or integration.
- Proven experience working in high-pressure environments.
- Repeated experience in Scrum/Agile methodologies.
- A quality-focused approach to developing, improving, and implementing streamlined processes.
- Ability to work in a DevOps environment and configure and support CI/CD functions.
- Strong understanding of API and integration technologies, with the ability to quickly grasp new products and adapt to complex mission-critical environments.
- Demonstrable experience in administration and configuration of MuleSoft or IBM API Connect
