Our opportunity

We are looking for a Modern Desktop Support Specialist to join our busy IT Team. In this team you will be providing day-to-day functional and technical support for all end-user compute technologies across the organisation. You will also play a pivotal role in identifying areas for improvement to enhance the user experience.

Your key responsibilities will be:

  • Offering first and second-level support for laptops, mobile devices, and meeting room technology.
  • Administering user accounts, permissions, and access rights in Azure and related systems.
  • Working with the IT team to implement and support new technologies and solutions.
  • Developing and facilitating Microsoft and technology productivity training sessions.
  • Documenting and maintaining precise records of support requests and resolutions.
  • Delivering exceptional customer service and support to end-users.


About you:

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Proven experience as a Desktop Support Analyst or similar role.
  • Tertiary qualifications in IT or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Proven experience in designing and delivering productivity training sessions.
  • Certifications in Microsoft end-user compute technologies.
  • Experience with Office 365, Intune, Active Directory and Azure Cloud Infrastructure.
  • Knowledge of ITIL and experience with IT service management software
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
