Your New Role
The Responsible Investment (RI) team, part of Aware Super's broader Investment Division, drives our key investment differentiator: Responsible Ownership. This approach enhances members' retirement outcomes through strong returns and being stewards of our members' retirement savings. The RI team integrates ESG into the investment process, conducts due diligence at both manager and asset levels, and performs research to guide responsible ownership and engagement. Additionally, the team leads stewardship activities both domestically and internationally.
- The Senior Analyst will play a key role in our RI Stewardship team, supporting the delivery of the Fund's Engagement strategy, voting and policy & advocacy activities - both domestically and globally.
- Lead and participate in key collaborative engagement initiatives (e.g. IAST APAC, CA100+; ACSI)
- Undertaking company level ESG research and developing engagement plans.
- Undertaking proxy voting to ensure our voting outcomes align to engagement activities, particularly key themes such as Climate; First Nations; Diversity; Executive Remuneration, Modern Slavery and Safety.
- Contributing to the Fund's key ESG research, reporting and communications
How do you exceed our expectations?

- At least 5 years' experience in a relevant industry such as Responsible Investment, Corporate Governance/Stewardship, Equities research; investment management or banking and finance
- Experience and a demonstrated passion for ESG is essential.
- Excellent analytical and communication skills (written & verbal)
- Demonstratable stakeholder management capability
- You are balanced in accepting risk in any decision you face. You are curious to understand risk context and choose to speak up as we simplify, learn and grow.
