Job Description
  • Spearhead the exploration and development of new contract logistics business opportunities across the globe, encompassing both direct business and 3PL sourcing strategies. Establish and execute annual business targets and plans to drive growth.
  • Proactively build a robust pipeline of contract logistics opportunities within key cities and countries where Dimerco has a presence, such as Shenzhen, Netherlands, China, and Australia, collaborating closely with local teams to leverage their expertise and networks.
  • Partner with various Business Units to identify and deliver comprehensive logistics solutions that effectively address the needs of existing and potential customers, while also anticipating future market demands and trends.
  • Take ownership of the end-to-end proposal process, including the compilation of compelling proposals, accurate quotation development, and persuasive presentations for new business inquiries and formal RFP/RFQ responses.
  • Act as a key liaison between Business Units and external vendors/3PL partners, ensuring that operational performance consistently meets and exceeds customer requirements and expectations.
  • Coordinate seamlessly with internal stakeholders to manage new project implementations, overseeing critical aspects such as project planning, solution design, warehouse setup, development of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), comprehensive cost analysis, and contract finalization, ensuring smooth and successful project execution.
  • Other assignments may be directed by the Management
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 8-10 years of progressive experience in sales and business development within the contract logistics sector, consistently achieving significant growth and closing major deals (direct and 3PL).
  • Demonstrated success in identifying and developing new business opportunities across international markets, including experience building pipelines in key regions.
  • Experience in establishing and executing annual business targets and plans to drive substantial growth within contract logistics.
  • Proven ability to collaborate with internal teams to design and deliver comprehensive contract logistics solutions, overseeing successful project implementation from planning to contract finalization.
