What's Cooking?

As our Nando's People Operations Coordinator you will be the first flame in our People & Culture grill - the friendly face behind our ANZ P&C Inbox and Workday magic! Whether it's answering burning questions, pointing folks in the right direction, or putting out small fires before they spark, you'll be the heartbeat of our P&C operations.

No experience? No worries! We're after passion, drive, and a hunger to learn - not a packed resume. Whether you're a fresh grad or just starting your People journey, bring the vibe, we'll bring the training.


What You'll Be Doing:

  • Inbox Extraordinaire: Be the friendly firekeeper of our People & Culture Inbox and Workday HQ - answering questions, sorting the spicy from the mild, spotting trends, and serving up sizzling solutions before the flame gets too hot.
  • Visa Vibes: Do a weekly sweep of visa statuses across ANZ. Advise our Nandocas and leaders on work rights, flag anything spicy that needs escalation, and help smooth things out when there's a visa hiccup.
  • Study Break Hero: Review and approve study break requests.
  • Process Pro: Team up with the P&C crew to keep our HR processes fresh and flaming hot - updating templates, guides, and docs that make work life smoother for all.
  • People Partner Power-Up: Support our People Partners by prepping the background sauce for employee relations - think investigations, grievances, and more.
  • Workday Wonder: Help fire up Workday training and coordinate learning events that are as smooth as our PERinaise.
  • Data Whiz: Gather the right ingredients for our P&C reporting and help serve up insights that drive smart, people-first decisions.
  • Always Leveling Up: Bring fresh ideas and energy to help our P&C team work smarter, faster, and even better. Continuous improvement? That's your thing.

Some bonus Skills to Set You on Fire:

  • Coordination Pro: You've got experience juggling people stuff across Australia and New Zealand - keeping the comms hot and the details spicy. (No experience? You are welcome to apply and convince us!)
  • Qualifications with Flavour: A degree in HR, Commerce, Business - or solid experience that speaks for itself.
  • Workday Wizardry (bonus points!): If you've worked with Workday before, we're already impressed. If not, we'll teach you the steps.
  • Trustworthy as a Locked Sauce Cup: You handle sensitive info like it's top-secret PERi-PERi. You understand what to triage, what to respond to, and when to escalate.
