Senior Functional Business Analyst – Procurement and Finance

We are seeking an experienced Senior Functional Business Analyst with deep expertise in procurement and finance processes to lead critical transformation initiatives across enterprise systems. This senior role involves strategic engagement with business and IT stakeholders, driving process improvements, and ensuring successful delivery of procurement and financial solutions in complex environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end analysis and process design across procurement and finance functions, including P2P, S2P, and financial reporting
• Engage senior stakeholders to gather business requirements and translate them into functional specifications
• Drive process improvements aligned with compliance, operational efficiency, and financial control
• Collaborate with technical teams to support ERP solution design, configuration, testing, and deployment
• Develop and maintain documentation including business cases, user stories, test plans, and training materials
• Support change management, user adoption, and UAT activities to ensure successful outcomes
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior analysts and contribute to governance processes

Key Requirements

• 8+ years of experience as a Functional Business Analyst with strong domain knowledge in procurement and finance
• Demonstrated experience in ERP projects (e.g., SAP, Oracle, TechnologyOne, Dynamics 365)
• Proven success in driving transformation or system upgrades in complex environments
• Strong knowledge of procurement frameworks, financial regulations, and reporting standards
• Excellent stakeholder engagement, communication, and facilitation skills
• Ability to work independently and influence decision-making at senior levels

Desirable Experience

• Previous experience in government, utilities, higher education, or large enterprise environments
• Familiarity with Australian public sector procurement and finance policies
