The Role
As a Management Accountant, you’ll be a key member of our Advisory team, working closely with a diverse client base and supporting the smooth day-to-day operations of our finance function. Your work will be instrumental in assisting clients through timely, accurate, and meaningful service. Assisting Our Clients
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Drafting month-end management reports
- Monthly reconciliation of accounts
- Reviewing journal entries, GL, BAS, and payroll preparation
- Proactively liaising with clients to ensure deadlines are met and critical business tasks are completed
- Timely billing, invoicing and WIP management
- Daily managing and filing of accounts inboxes
- Supporting day-to-day operations and collaborating with the team
- Monitoring team task progress to ensure deadlines and quality standards are met
- Attending client and internal meetings to take notes and share key actions
- Assisting in the preparation of new client proposals
- Sourcing and distributing key information for clients and the team
- Providing support and coverage for team members during absences by understanding key responsibilities
- Proactively identifying process improvement opportunities and communicating them to senior staff

- A keen eye for detail and a desire to provide excellent service to our clients
- The ability to balance multiple responsibilities while maintaining high quality work
- A genuine interest in accounting and advisory
- Completion or near-completion of a Business or Commerce degree (necessary)
- Basic understanding of accounting and business processes
- Strong communication and organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise and multitask
- A commitment to teamwork, professionalism, and continuous improvement
- Beginner in Office 365; Knowledge of Accounting software (MYOB, Xero, Spotlight Reporting) is a plus
