What's on offer?
An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Finance Analyst to join our Group Corporate Finance team. The role is an accounting-based role, and will be based in our Australian corporate head office in Richmond and will report to the Senior Finance Analyst.

Working with the broader group finance team you will leverage your excellent financial modelling skills, designing, building, reviewing and augmenting 3-way integrated forecast, operating and transaction models.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Review of financial raw data to form accounting insights.
  • Consolidation of Group balance sheet, cashflow and P&L used for valuation, strategy and refinancing purposes.
  • Scenario planning, sensitivity and "what-if" modelling in Excel to support senior management/Board decision making.
  • Consolidation and compilation of monthly financial results in the Consolidated Group Corporate model.
  • Support for yearly impairment testing and assessment of WACC rates.
  • Transaction support for refinancing and potential acquisitions.

Your background:
You will have a degree in Commerce/Accounting/Business/Finance or similar. Ideally, you have worked in a similar analytical function in a large corporate, and are looking for a new challenge in a large, rapidly growing business. Proven 3-way financial statements modelling skills and experience in understanding and building complex models, analysing and questioning data, investigating data issues, accounting, and financial presentation will set you up for success.

You are a proactive self-starter with robust modelling skills, an inquisitive mind and strong attention to detail. You enjoy working with people and are a problem solver. This is a hands-on role, suitable for someone who thrives in a dynamic, fast paced environment.

In return, you will be part of a team where our 'Good Work' culture will encourage you to take ownership and have empowerment. In addition to having access to our employee benefits program to receive corporate benefits and discounts, we also offer competitive salary packages that reflect the markets in which we operate.

The salary banding for this position is $80,000 to $95,000 plus superannuation.
