We are seeking a talented and driven individual to join our dynamic Technology Operations team. As a team member, you will play a pivotal role in working with our business and helping to support and provide engineering services to the digital platform. About the Opportunity
The Scrum Master will ensure the successful delivery of a product or service by guiding cross-functional delivery teams to follow Scrum practices and principles. Reporting to the Manager Agile Practice, this role will empower team members, remove obstacles, and foster a collaborative environment to enhance productivity and quality. Additionally, the Scrum Master facilitates Agile ceremonies and promotes effective communication to ensure alignment with the organisational goals and objectives.
- Practice Delivery: Lead Agile ceremonies to drive team alignment and delivery, ensuring adherence to Scrum principles; manage project scope, dependencies, and resourcing to meet business objectives; and support squads in refining the product backlog and breaking down user stories into actionable tasks.
- Leadership: Foster a collaborative, high-performing team culture by mentoring and coaching cross-functional digital delivery teams across various Agile frameworks, including Scrum, Kanban, Lean, SAFe, and hybrid models.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with Product Owners, Project Managers, and stakeholders to ensure alignment with business goals, while working closely with Release Management and Operations teams to plan, execute, and monitor successful deployments.
- Governance and Quality: Drive continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to enhance Agile practices, while tracking Sprint and Product goals, addressing bottlenecks, and implementing solutions to optimize delivery and ensure project success.
About you
You are an experienced and certified Scrum Master or Delivery Lead with over 5 years of success leading and motivating Agile teams in the digital space. With a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, you bring deep knowledge of Agile delivery methodologies-including Scrum, Kanban, hybrid, and even traditional waterfall approaches. Your strong grasp of the software development lifecycle, coupled with hands-on expertise in tools like Jira and Confluence, enables you to drive efficient, transparent delivery processes.
You're a natural collaborator with excellent communication and problem-solving skills, and you embody a true Agile mindset. You're also committed to upholding data privacy, security, and ethical practices, playing an active role in promoting integrity and helping mitigate risks across your projects.
