A full-time Night Duty Manager opportunity is now available.

About the Role

The Night Duty Manager creates an experience for our hotel guests by offering them a larger than home experience with welcoming, helpful and exceptional service, while maintaining a clean, comfortable and inviting environment.

Working on the overnight shift (11pm-7:30am), you will carry out daily auditing and balancing of guest folios including all transactions.

Your Core Purpose will be:

The Night Duty Manager provide guests with an engaging check in experience, by providing a friendly welcome. Go above and beyond to provide assistance, assist with luggage, coffee, directions, wake up calls, future reservations, etc.

Duties include:

  • Handle guest check ins/check outs in accordance with hotel credit/cash handling policies.
  • Conduct daily auditing of hotel transactions, balancing of guest folios and running daily reports
  • To handle all guest enquiries in a courteous and efficient manner, quickly following up on any guest complaints and issues.
  • Handle guest issues/complaints with courtesy, empathy and sincerity.
  • To be able to use Opera and other property management systems
  • Handle guest and employee enquiries in a courteous and efficient manner, reporting complaints or problems if no immediate solution can be found, whilst feeding back a prompt follow up.
  • To be fully conversant with the hotel's credit policies and to monitor all guest accounts.
  • To know and carry out specified duties in response to a fire alarm, guest medical emergency and security threats
  • Ensure high standards of personal presentation and grooming.

Qualifications

What we are looking for:

  • Previous Front Office experience
  • Relevant degree in Hospitality is an advantage
  • Experience using Opera would set you apart from the rest
  • Passionate about creating memorable guest experiences
  • Exceptional communication skills and attention to detail
  • Demonstrated ability to provide and improve customer service with both internal and external customers.
  • A positive, enthusiastic attitude and the ability to work on the overnight shift from 11pm-7.30am
