The Organisation

Our client is a leading provider in their respective industry who are experiencing continued growth. With a range of key products & services, this market leading organisation is seeking a driven and motivated Payroll & Accounts professional to join their supportive and inclusive team. The successful candidate will predominantly be looking after payroll and accounts receivable duties, to ensure the accuracy and integrity of the financial functionality, whilst assisting the team with broader duties. This is an ongoing role until at least October, with an ability to work close to home in the North, commencing as soon as you're able.

Position Description

Directly reporting to the Financial Controller your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

  • Managing end to end Payroll duties for 20+ employees
  • Processing weekly and monthly pay cycles
  • Interpreting various EBAs and awards
  • Payment of superannuation and tax
  • Handling queries from employees and customers
  • Managing end to end Accounts Receivable duties
  • Invoicing, allocating and receipting payments
  • Processing credit notes
  • Following up overdue accounts
  • Bank reconciliations
  • Developing and managing relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Additional tasks to assist the broader finance team

The Ideal Candidate

The successful applicant with have similar proven experience in a Payroll & Accounts Receivable role and have the following:

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Excellent time management skills and a keen eye for detail
  • Drive and desire to hit the ground running
  • Ability to confidently work autonomously, as well as act as a team player to operate collaboratively
