Are you a detail-driven finance professional with a knack for keeping things running smoothly behind the scenes? At Adventure World, we believe that every great journey begins with a solid foundation and that includes our finance team.
We’re on the lookout for an Accounts Payable Officer to join our tight-knit finance team. In this role, you’ll play a key part in processing supplier invoices, managing creditor relationships and ensuring the smooth flow of payments across the business. You’ll work closely with our Management Accountant and liaise with our product team and suppliers to deliver timely and accurate financial outcomes.
What You’ll Do
- Process, code and reconcile supplier invoices with precision
- Manage supplier queries and ensure timely resolution of disputes
- Coordinate and support pay runs and prepayment reversals
- Reconcile statements and manage the AP inbox
- Collaborate with auditors during reviews and maintain well-organised documentation
- Look for ways to improve systems and processes in the AP space
What We’re Looking For
- 1–2 years’ experience in Accounts Payable (essential)
- Solid understanding of accounting principles
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent time management and communication skills
- Experience with Calypso is a plus (but not a deal breaker)
- A proactive, team-oriented mindset with the ability to work independently
