About The Role

An exciting opportunity with an industry-leading organisation currently exists in order to fill a key role in their finance team. This Accountants' position will help assist in the management and communication of the companies’ financial & corporate accounting activities on both a domestic and international scale.

The Responsibilities

Reporting into the Senior Finance Manager, your responsibilities will include (but are not limited to);

  • Assist with monthly financial reporting
  • Prepare and process month-end journal entries
  • Prepare monthly general ledger reconciliations
  • Assist in the preparation of year-end financial statements
  • Ad-hoc projects as and when required
  • Drive continuous improvement in systems, reporting, process and efficiency

The successful applicant

The successful applicant will be a CA/CPA qualified accounting professional and possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills as your ability to interact and engage cross functionally within the business will be crucial to your success. Exposure to JD Edwards will be highly valued The successful will be required to get a full Working With Children's Check.
